Hotel Vance, Portland, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I stayed in here for three nights, and overall it was a peaceful stay. The hotel is located near all the action Portland has to offer, and it is also just a minute away from Portland State University (if you know someone there, this can be helpful). ||Unfortunately, the area is also known for a lot of homeless wandering around, some even doing drugs in the daytime, so be cautious. The bed was super comfortable, and the outlets worked just fine. It was a really big space to walk around in with a large flat screen as well. I was impressed by that. But, I was confused at how their shower screen didn't close, so you're bound to get the floor wet. Plus, some of their towels were stained and it was discomforting to see. ||Staff was friendly, and in the building they do have a Starbucks and a restaurant to eat at. In addition, they have a parking lot you can use during your stay- for a fee. I was happy to be here, and would do it again. ||The location is great, but also comes with certain risks, so proceed carefully.
