The room was very nice, I booked here because the price was right when looking for hotels in the area. But I will likely be back if I come back for a vacation; the location is great if you want to walk or take public transit. It was during a storm when I was visiting, but lots of great stuff in walking distance if the weather were better. If you're coming from the airport the red line will take you to the back side of the hotel. Get off at pioneer Square exit. The gym is very nice and clean, and has a place to fill your water bottle. The bar was nice, and breakfast was as well. Their coffee was legitimately very good coffee, it's coffee shop quality in your hotel lobby. That's probably the main reason to be back. Parking was good, in a garage with easy in and out. Parking was pretty normal price for portland, there was a more expensive option for valet Parking, but the garage was easy to navigate so self parking is the way to go, in my opinion. The front desk was kinda rude at first, I came in work clothes (jeans, sneakers, beanie, and a heavy coat), guess I wasn't the usual clientele. I came to ask how to get into the garage/get a physical key for it, once he looked me up he got a lot nicer. Everyone else was incredibly nice, especially the bar tender and the guy in the morning at the restaurant.
