I was in town for a week of training and stayed here. I had a great stay! When I checked in there were some issues with the building's HVAC which they fixed promptly but issued me some breakfast/dinner vouchers for the trouble. My room was plenty warm enough anyway. The breakfast and dinner items I had were delicious, cooked fast, and the service was excellent. Everyone that works here is lovely. My room was clean and nice. I got good use of the fridge, microwave, and double cup coffee maker. I used the hot tub once while there and it was clean and hot as well. There were 2 large chamber of commerce Christmas parties in the ballroom that occurred there while I stayed, but I didn't hear a peep. In fact, I didn't hear anything from any other rooms the entire time I stayed, so they must be well insulated rooms. I noticed a few days after my stay a "gift shop" charge on my incidentals credit card. I called from 4 hours away and let them know I didn't buy anything, and they immediately issued me a refund. My guess is that another guest bought something and gave them the wrong room number to charge it to. Either way, the woman I spoke with was very helpful and I really appreciate the help. I would absolutely stay here again.

I had a room with 2 queens and paid $259 for a one night stay in a disgusting room! The bathroom has no ventilation, the bathtub was dingy/dirty! No soap (thank goodness I brought my own). The lights worked when they felt like working. Barely enough towels for (2). The room itself was dingy, and musty smelling. I must say we were shocked and highly disappointed! This place definitely qualifies as a motel, not a hotel! The only positives I have is the gentleman at the front desk, he is a superstar and gets a 10+ for customer service and the restaurant gets a 10+ for the impeccable service and high quality perfectly seasoned/coked food!! I wish I would’ve read the reviews first; I didn’t because the Hilton name says it all, and expected the Hilton standards. After leaving this “hotel” I had to travel all the way back to NY; I stayed at all IHG Hotels, which were literally half the cost and carried the standards I’m accustomed to. I can’t believe this place represents the Hilton line! Because of this “hotel,” I will never stay at another Hilton! Unless you have low standards and enjoy staying at truck stop type motels, then yes, please do stay at Hilton Sacramento Arden West.
