The room was fine and location was great. The rats in the bar area were annoying. But the reason I will never stay here again is the valet service. When I received my car back, there was a brand spanking new hit on the side of my car. Roxanne, the manager, made us feel comfortable that they would take care of it once she reviewed the camera footage. She promised to get back to us within 24 hours. Three days later, I followed up since we never received a call or email from her. Roxanne said she reviewed the footage and was unable to tell if the damage was there prior to the valet taking our vehicle. She said they submit reports for each car, and the report said there was previous damage. This tells me that the valet damaged our vehicle before submitting the report. We also found shards of glass in our car after receiving it back. I asked Roxanne if this meant they were not taking responsibility for the damage done to our vehicle. Her answer? “That’s correct”. A friend who stayed at the hotel the same night mentioned the radio had been turned to a new station and things were moved around. This review should serve as a warning to anybody considering staying at this hotel. And NEVER use their valet. If it seems like I’m better, it’s because I am. I trusted Roxanne to take care of us. I should have taken the time to file a police report and file it through my own insurance. Roxanne convinced us that was not necessary. After all, this is a “luxury hotel” and it’s probably only around $1000 in damage. Though the hotel is not the valet service, they are culpable in my mind since they endorse their service for customers of the hotel. I imagine this review will cost more than $1000 in revenue. And when they heard about the rats, they didn’t seem surprised lol.
