We enjoyed a short stay in San Antonio after taking a last minute road trip vacation to South Padre Island for the New Year. The hotel was modernly appointed, clean, and chic. Room had nice design touches, comfortable beds, and nice large bathroom. My daughter loves swimming so the large pool was a big draw to the hotel as well. Location was a very short walk downtown, neighborhood was nice and quiet. The restaurant had an exceptional menu and everything we ordered was beautifully plated and tasted on par with any 5 star restaurant. We had a few nice cocktails and the bar was extensively appointed with many high end brands, which I was pleasantly surprised. We came off season so the hotel was nice and quiet. The rooftop bar had a beautiful view of the city and the checkin and checkout process was pleasant, they even offered a late checkout so we could visit the city shortly before packing our car and heading back home.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway! We booked the Thompson Suite with king bed. The room was amazing!! It had a spacious living room and bathroom. A bonus wrap around patio which was a Great spot for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. The only draw back was the roof top bar was by reservation only. We were paying guest and couldn’t even get a table for drinks. I feel guest should have priority access to the hotel bar! It was very disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy all the hotel amenities they offer.
