I am not an unreasonable person, however, when I pay $100 for a hotel room I have expectations. This particular stay certainly did not meet my expectations. What I did incur was the following: 1. Today is July 23rd, this is Louisiana. Why is the pool closed and nasty. It’s over 95 degrees outside. 2. When I walked into my room it was 92 degrees, after being on the road for several hours, this is far from welcoming. 3. There are burn holes and stains all over the bedding. 4. The toilet does not work properly. 5. I had to kill a cockroach after I opened the mini fridge. 6. The TV had to go through an approximately 20-30 minute update before it would work. 7. The microwave did not work, although I would not have used it if it did considering the aforementioned cockroach issue. 8. There was visible dirt on the floor. 9. The cleanliness of the shower was certainly less than ideal, again, visible dirt. 10. The room is completely non refundable. In summary, for the price, I feel you would be better off at another one Bossier City/Shreveport’s numerous lodging options. This one, overall, was super disappointing. And again, for $100 bucks, I’d expect no roaches and clean bedding at the very least.
