The room was really cozy. We loved having a balcony to ourselves, the extra heater in the bathroom, and how comfortable the bed was. The walls are very thin, like other reviews have mentioned, but we found that other guests were quiet after dark. The pool and hot tub were great. The location of the lodge is perfect - even though a lot of shops in the mall are currently closed for the fall, it was great being so close to the shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of amazing hiking opportunities right near the lodge. The only con I can think of is the continental breakfast, which is almost entirely carb-based, aside from yogurt. Would've really loved some protein options, especially to prepare for a long day of hiking.

My wife and I have stayed here twice coming in from Houston. Service is always great!! In fact a young man by the Name of Jose was behind the counter most of our stay and he is very positive and will go the extra mile to help. Rooms are clean , just a lil outdated but again clean and location is great. Can easily catch the free bus service by just crossing the street which is Snowmass mall.
