I have never experienced such poor management/ service in a Marriott hotel. I have read reviews and basically see the resounding theme. Terrible service. Had to change rooms after unpacking because room was 80 degrees. Thermostat read 65. Not working per engineer. Placed on the only available room on 8th floor at 10 pm. This required a third elevator to get to the lobby, my husband was attending a conference and was back and forth several times a day, with a bad hip. They said they would move us again the next day after checkout. We finally got into a room and settled at 2:30 pm. Desk rarely answered, I requested to speak to a monger when I was told That check in was at 4 and could not get into room until then. Manager never came out! The gym had no cleaning wipes, towels or water cups. Cups, glasses not changed in the room. Location, lobby, we’re great! Wellington was helpful. Kitt at the lobby breakfast was delightful. Bellman and concierge were very kind and accommodating. We never even got a “sorry for the inconvenience” let alone any compensation for a miserable first 24 hours.
