Location is great! We have stayed here multiple times and love the location to the gondola and that it is dog friendly! We have always had below average service at every stay. The front desk staff is absolutely horrible, extremely rude and cannot help or accommodate any situation. We are not needy travelers but common curtesy and basic amenities are expected, at this price point. There was one experience in particular at Unravel that prompted this post. I was told in the middle of the day, that I could not order a coffee due to “his child being in crisis” while there were multiple staff behind the bar and he was sitting on a stool behind the counter. I was not asking for a free coffee, but paying for a service that was blatantly denied, for no reason. This is disappointing because all our other stays have been at Winter Park GH where the staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond for members and guests and every stay is exceptional.

It has some great amenities, especially the welcoming lobby and pool area. The breakfast I had there in 2022 was delicious, and I Iook forward to trying the new restaurant. However, in the rooms you are reminded that it is a remodeled Best Western. Some things are starting to show their age, like heaters and the doors into the bathroom. The large soap and lotion dispensers are a great sustainable investment.
