If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place was run down and the service was terrible the whole trip. From the start there was no communication about an additional deposit at check in after paying IN FULL at booking. The room was barely clean. Walking barefoot my feet were dirty. The shower had soap scuz in it, and the toilet was gross. The microwave was also dirty and rusted. Paint was all over the mirror in the breezeway. Service elevators were both broke (2) resulting in staff needing to use regular elevators but only 2 of the 3 elevators were working our entire stay. House keeping would “clean” or room but nothing was really wiped down or clean and fresh towels were not given anytime. The one particular front desk staff was little to know help anytime we had questions. He was rude. The outside area was also not very cleanly. For the amount of $$ people spend at this “resort” you’d think it’s been in better shape. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The resort stay was enjoyable. As the resort is old, the rooms could use a little upgrading. The beds were comfortable and the room size was spacious, but the air quality was poor due to dirty filters. Two of the three elevators were offline. It was extremely inconvenient if you stayed on a high-level floor, such as the 11th floor, which is where I stayed. The outside bar, restaurant, and pool areas were great. The nearby beach was clean and charged for umbrellas, chairs, and tables. The gym was equipped with all basic workout items, but no sanitation cloths. Great customer service! Special thanks to Horatio, Kesay, and Carlos.
