When we arrived at the hotel we found there was a problem with my co-workers reservation, and the hotel had no availability for our for our 17 night stay. This was a very stressful situation. Julie overheard what was happening and stepped in and handled this situation with no stress to us. She used critical thinking skills and put us in a 2 Room Suite for the 17 days. Julie turned this situation around for us with her immediate solution. We will definitely stay on site again for all of our future Syracuse travel needs. Julie is top notch and a true asset to the Marriott hotel. Thank You, so much Julie, you are very appreciated! During our stay we also stopped by the front desk multiple times for directions and suggestions and Mel has also been very helpful, kind professional and fun too!

check-in was quick and parking was easy. coming from Canada, great price value on the room compared to hotel pricing in Ontario. staff was SO friendly and helpful at check-in and breakfast! king studio room was so spacious and the A/C worked well and kept the room very cool! room was clean and well stocked with towels. breakfast had so many options, we were very impressed and the lounge area was bright and sunny to enjoy our meals. perfectly located around endless restaurants to try and late night bar options to grab a cocktail and listen to live music! VEO bikes everywhere to cruise around downtown on. two things to comment on - our alarm clock went off at 6AM and we were woken up very startled by this - if housekeeping could reset alarm clocks between guests that may solve that problem! secondly, we didn’t think to bring room towels to the pool and thought they may be stocked there, but there was none, just a full towel disposal - might be our mistake and pool towels aren’t provided though or they were just not replenished (we visited the pool around 8pm so kind of late)! overall really enjoyed our stay!!
