Stayed at the Renaissance/Toledo for one night for a business trip. The hotel has a nice location along the river and has a unique decor which is such a nice departure from all the cookie cutter hotels out there. Toledo is famous for Jeeps (I didnt know that) and the hotel features jeep history and manufacturing throughout the hotel which is a nice touch. Check in was a breeze and the room was good sized and very quiet. Couldn't hear any of the other guests. Pillows/bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The fitness center is a good size with plenty of cardio equipment. I had breakfast at the lobby level restaurant which had good selections and quality with friendly service, exactly what is needed early in the morning. Dinner at the rooftop bar/restaurant was ok. A little discombobulated without any clear host station and no real sense of where to sit. There were several tables marked "reserved" but they were empty and no one ever sat at them. Food was average, service was above average.|I'd stay here again just because the decor was so unique and the rooms were so comfortable, but maybe I'd look elsewhere for dinner.

Positive: The room room was clean and quiet. There was not much of a view due to construction. The rooftop bar was nice but smoke from to woodburning oven was a little irritating so we did not stay long. Negative: There was a problem with the tv but they replaced it after being unable to fix it and offered a breakfast voucher as well. There should have been more towels, you should not have to ask for them. There is valet but the parking is a little walk away.
