My wife and I had a "staycation" at the Grand Resort and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed on premises for the entirety of the weekend, as there was plenty to do and experience. We played around in the rec facility after checking in. Then showered up, hit one of the bars for a cocktail before dinner at The Chop House. 18 oz ribeye was about as perfectly cooked as you could've asked. After dinner we swam in the roman bath, and then stopped at another one of the lobby bars for a nightcap cocktail. The bartender was very knowledgeable in cocktails and had great recommendations. The next morning we had breakfast at The Atrium and it was delicious. My wife then had an appointment for a massage and I hit the weight room. She said it was the best massage she has ever received and the entire experience was relaxing-- from the sauna at the beginning, to the steam shower at the end. The weight room facilities are second to none and they have every piece of fitness equipment you could ask for. 10/10 would recommend.

We were there for a party in the small room near the fitness center but we walked around the facility and it looked amazing! Gorgeous features indoors and a fabulous outdoor patio and pool area. The meeting room we were in was nice enough but perhaps they were short staffed or were prioritizing another event because the food service wait staff was absent much of the time. It was especially noticeable once we were finished eating. It became clear no one was coming to get our plates so guests began clearing the table themselves and stacking plates on a built in counter on one side of the room. Eventually someone came to get them. There was a bartender in the room and she was with us the whole time and was great! She did what she could here and there to help with the table service but she had a steady flow at the bar and couldn't step away for more than a min or two. Plus, it's likely she wasn't supposed to leave the bar unmanned. Overall, for the four or so hours I was there, it looked to me to be a great place to visit. Living in NC I'm not sure that will happen but I recommend it to anyone in the OH/PA vicinity.
