Stayed there for the second time on a Friday and Saturday night first weekend in November. The room was very nice as good if not better than the other local casinos. Clean and air conditioned. only having one entrance to the casino from the hotel adds to the walk to enter. The table dealers were friendly and helpful. The drink ladies were not. Both trips it was nearly impossible to get drinks from them at both the slot machines and the table games. Several times after waiting over 1/2 hour we went to the bar which was accommodating and comfortable. The bartender was very nice and the beer was cold. We ate several times at the Brews Brothers as the choices were limited. They don't open until 8 AM and closed earlier than posted times both Friday and Saturday night. The food was just OK, but dang, we had crunchy rice with our jumbo, in Louisiana? not heard of before. Their selection is also limited. Beginning that Saturday I was given a number for the on duty casino host. There was a phone message to leave a message as they were on the phone with someone else. The message box was full and after 30 calls with the same result the only conclusion can be nobody answers the phone or messages. I have called many many times in the last month with the same results. Usually we get up with a casino host who will work with us on the room and or food while we were there based on play. Not here. There is no way to contact anyone on the web page that they have unlike other casinos who post the contact information of the hosts. I provided feedback to both the main Caesars corporate e-mail and filled out a feed back that the lake Charles Horseshoe had sent me. No reply from either, so I look forward to a response using this platform from someone who want to make this place better and appreciates the time people take to provide honest feedback.
