Pros: Riverview with balcony room was clean and nice space; great view. Location is also good. Firgun Cafe on 1st floor is convenient and offers good coffee. Staff are friendly. Breakfast buffet was adequate, serving mostly Asian-style breakfast but some European options. Room rate is priced appropriately, but not necessarily a good value. Cons: room had only half roll of toilet paper; after two request to reception desk I had to go get TP myself. Not a big deal but is reflective of the attention to detail. Staff made no mention that there would be loud early morning construction (impact drill, hammering, etc). Although the construction was in the adjacent building. Summary: good location, nice rooms with view. Attentiveness to simple guest requests lacking from customer service. I will probably choose a different hotel on my next visit.

“Good but not great ” Started with waiting for our room. They asked us to sit down but then waited there for 10 minutes before I finally asked what’s happening and then they apologised to say our room wasn’t ready yet. We waited for almost half hour. I then discovered they ran out any local maps. The guest relation manager asked me to go and buy one from bookstore which she doesn’t know any nearby. Room itself very nice. Spacious and have a good view of the dragon bridge. However the shower is abit tricky with the standalone bath. The door is a concern as it doesn’t close by itself unless you push in/pull so you need to be careful as to not leave your room unlocked. Breakfast was less to be desired, bland taste and not many options available with only 3 different drinks as well. Location wise is very good, close to many cafes and restaurants plus near the market. Staff tried their best to be accommodating so that’s a bonus.
