A very enjoyable and comfortable stay in one of the newer hotels in Da Nang. It is clear they are trying to uphold international standards and this is reflected in the price - despite this, my balcony room was well worth it and covered a fantastic beach view from the 22nd floor with none of the beachfront noise that can sometimes spoil a stay in Da Nang (maybe time for the local government to limit noise?). Modern and sensible layout and a perfectly comfortable bed. Bathroom items on request, which some may expect provided, however this environmental approach was welcome and efficiently actioned when I did ask for something. It’s a new hotel, so hopefully upon reading these suggestions will help: dressing gowns in the room should be a standard feature for a hotel at this level, as should beach towels. Some furniture on the balcony would be great, a chair or lounger and a small coffee table would have fitted - and perhaps a drying stand for clothes, people will always avoid the laundry charge and do this, so a separate stand away from the balcony rail might help keep the hotel more aesthetically pleasing from the outside and save laundry flying down to the beach - I picked up a few fallen items on my morning walks. Breakfast: didn’t try as I can’t always eat enough to justify. Pool and gym: pool is excellent - long enjoy to swim short lengths and gets quiet around midday. Just the right temperature during summer and warmer than the frigid pools at four points and Radisson on the same strip. Gym looked modern and staff were working here and at the pool to keep everything ready for guests. The terrace and yoga space on the top floor was great and I could chill at sunset with absolutely no distractions - other guests seemed unaware of this lovely space with sunset views over behind the hotel. Above all the staff were delightful. Excellent English skills where expected (reception and checkin/out were great) and an above and beyond attitude everywhere, particularly the door staff, room service and parking attendants who always helped with my the temperamental key on my rental bike. It’s clear they have good people here so I hope they’ll do their best to keep them long term. Of my many stays in Da Nang, this is certainly on my list of those I’ll return to!
