The hotel has wonderful staff, kind and helpful people and everything that can be washed is clean, the bed linen etc. However, its 5* rating on Tripadvisor cannot be explained. The last time the hotel saw any investment was when it was built. The toilet seat covers are duck-tape fixed, there is no restaurant on the top floor (you can take the elevator there, but its a cleared out hall with only worn out carpeting left on the floor), the pool area has broken glass windows, the furniture is broken, the breakfast area has an unappealing smell (to be fair, we went there once and stayed for full 2 minutes, may be a bad coincidence), there is mold on the walls in the rooms and corridors. It’s priced low, but there are much better alternatives to the said hotel in the same price range. |It’s regrettable, as the staff is great and location too - but the place needs to be rebuilt.
