Cape Town Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers

An unexpected pleasure to stay at the Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers in Century City. I had wanted to arrive earlier into Cape Town and extend my stay downtown however my existing hotel reservation and many other hotels were fully booked. I had been to Cape Town earlier in the year however had not been to Century City. The hotel was fabulous even if only for the night.||The room was very clean, the views surprisingly good, the staff were incredibly helpful after my long trip from the USA. It was a nice recovery from the challenge at the airport as my first class car service failed to pick me up as scheduled from the airport. ||My two large heavy bags were quickly transferred to my room. The room was spacious and comfortable with amazing views. The concierge arranged my taxi to my scheduled dinner reservation at the Mount Nelson restaurant The Veranda. This despite running behind with the sub optimal airport transfer experience I made it in plenty of time.||I added pain to misery leaving my Apple AirPods in the taxi from the airport. The following morning the guest relations lady representative, was amazingly helpful in tracking down the taxi driver who returned the AirPods to the airport and then she arranged for them to be transferred to me at the hotel. This would likely never have happened in the US. I am so grateful for the thoughtfulness and assistance provided by the hotel staff in retrieving my Airpods. ||The following mornings breakfast hit the spot with a wide variety of tasty foods on offer at the buffet with a chef cooking to order as desired. Once my Airpods were returned to me Guest relations and the concierge assisted me in getting to my down town hotel location on schedule, on time, rested and relieved. The Marriott Crystal Towers in Century City rocks in every aspect of my short stay and experience.
